Viral content is content that compels others to hit that share button. Whether it’s a laugh-out-loud meme or a heart-wrenching video, it moves people enough that they want to pass it along. And if you’re a content creator, brand manager, or social media strategist trying to break through the noise, you need to understand why people share.
From my experience in corporate communications and social media strategy, I’ve found that there are five key elements that increase the likelihood of virality. The more of these you incorporate, the higher your probability of going viral.
