To my friends whose children are starting school, I want to urge you to consider that the world has changed. What was needed for us to succeed, will not be what your children need.

Rethinking Rote Learning

Gone are the days when success in school was solely measured by the ability to memorize facts and figures. With the advent of generative AI, your children now have access to vast amounts of information at their fingertips. Instead of focusing on rote learning, parents should encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. This shift will allow your children to leverage AI as a tool, using it to complement their understanding rather than relying on memorization alone.

Creativity as our Differentiator

While AI can process information at incredible speeds, it lacks human creativity. The ability to think outside the box, come up with innovative solutions, and express oneself creatively will be the differentiating factor between humans and AI.
