Syfe: The best trading platform for small investors
As a small investor, every dollar counts. While many platforms tout zero commission charges for trading US stocks, they however do charge a “platform fee” for each transaction. And, for the small investor starting out who invests $50 a month, the fee takes a huge bite out of the investable amount.
Syfe vs Moomoo
While Moomoo charges a “low” platform fee of US0.99 per transaction, they do not offer any free transactions per month. Syfe, on the other hand, charges USD1.49 per transaction but provides two free transactions per calendar month.
As the comparison above shows, Moomoo is the cheaper trading platform if you trade six or more times a month. Any less, and Syfe has the edge. In fact, the fewer times you trade, the better Syfe’s edge. So if you are a small investor just starting to build your dividend nest egg by investing a small amount each month, Syfe is the best trading platform for you.
Do note that there are fees involved in switching platforms. Hence, in the event you eventually decide that you want to switch trading platforms, it will not be that simple.
